Love is sweet: Brothers sell candy, save children

Two entrepreneurs in Texas—brothers Patrick, 9, and Ian, 7—recently concocted an idea to satisfy sugar cravings and save lives.

The Brothers Candy Company, which began in 2013, delivers quarter-turn candy machines to local restaurants and businesses, donating a portion of its profits to fund surgeries for Iraqi children.

Patrick and Ian, whose parents desire their sons to learn business and love people, regularly service the machines—which brim with Reese’s, m&ms, jellybeans, and other confections.

The young brothers have discovered the intersection between what they know and what the world needs, so each time they fill a machine, they fill a need.

What about what you know? How can you intersect your knowledge and skills with the need in Iraq? Comment below, or email us with ideas!
